Precision or a refusal — never an estimate

In a specification question a plausible answer is worse than none, because somebody will design around it. The assistant quotes the figure from your datasheet or it declines; it does not interpolate between two published values and it does not judge whether something suits an application it cannot see.

Can it read PDF datasheets?

Documents can be uploaded as knowledge sources alongside crawled web pages, so specification material that only exists as a document is still answerable and citable.

Will it estimate a specification it cannot find?

No. It answers from indexed material and refuses outside it. In this sector that refusal is the feature — an invented tolerance or rating could end up in someone's design.

Can it give lead times?

It can state what you publish about typical lead times, cited. Live availability depends on your ERP rather than your website, so specific order questions escalate.
